NOTTINGHAM NHS TRUST KILLED 500 MOTHERS BABIES
Systemic racism and bullying at NHS trust caused avoidable deaths of over 500 women and infants.
The Ockenden inquiry found 'cruel' and 'dismissive' attitudes toward women, combined with deep-rooted racism and a toxic bullying culture, directly contributed to preventable maternal and infant deaths. Black women and women of color face compounded harm when healthcare systems treat them with contempt. The UK's most vulnerable mothers were failed by an institution that should have protected them.
